Vertex Advisory Services looking for an SAP SD OTC (Order-to-Cash) Lead – Managing Consultant, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, leading the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA OTC processes. You will play a critical role in managing SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) projects, ensuring seamless integration with other modules (MM, FI, PP, etc.), and driving digital transformation initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for guiding teams, facilitating workshops, and supporting business development activities.
1. Solution Design & Implementation
- Lead the technical design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA OTC processes, including:
- Order Management (Sales Orders, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements)
- Pricing & Rebates (Condition techniques, pricing procedures, discounts, surcharges)
- Billing & Invoicing (Billing documents, invoice processing, revenue recognition)
- Credit Management (Risk management, exposure control, credit limits)
- Delivery & Logistics Execution (Shipping, transportation, and warehouse integration)
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP OTC with other SAP modules (MM, FI, PP, WM, etc.) and external systems.
- Develop functional specifications for RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) objects and collaborate with technical teams to deliver solutions.
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements, assess pain points, and design scalable SAP solutions.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and recommend best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive SAP best practices and align solutions with industry standards and business goals.
- Lead design workshops and blueprinting sessions, guiding business users and key stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and guidance to SAP consultants, ensuring the successful execution of projects.
- Mentor and coach junior team members to enhance their SAP and consulting skills.
- Support pre-sales and business development activities, including RFP responses, solution demonstrations, and proposal preparation.
- Collaborate with clients to define project roadmaps and develop long-term SAP strategies.
- Build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders to drive digital transformation initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP S/4HANA advancements, roadmap changes, and emerging trends.
- Leverage SAP Accelerate delivery methodology (or equivalent frameworks) to ensure efficient project execution.
- Recommend and implement innovative solutions to optimize OTC processes.
Technical & Functional Expertise
- 10+ years of SAP SD/OTC experience, including multiple full-cycle SAP implementations.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA OTC processes and integration with SAP MM, FI, and other modules.
- Expertise in SAP Pricing, Billing, Credit Management, ATP (Available-to-Promise), and Revenue Recognition.
- Experience with Fiori, BRF+, Output Management, and Integration technologies (IDocs, APIs, EDI, BTP, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience in leading large-scale SAP transformation programs.
- Strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions and align them with best practices.
- Experience with Agile, Activate, or Accelerate methodology.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management abilities.
